Roth® Cheese Adds New Garlic Herb Flavor to it’s Growing Line of Fresh Goat Cheese

Creamy, Savory Goat Cheese In Stores Now

Fitchburg, Wisconsin, October 13, 2020 – Roth® Cheese, makers of award-winning specialty cheese, is expanding its fresh goat cheese line with the introduction of Roth Garlic Herb Chèvre. Harvested at their best, garlic and herbs merge with the subtle, creamy taste of chèvre for a savory flavor. It’s perfect for snacking, dips and topping salads to change up the weekly meal routine.

“We were looking for a savory, alternative spin on classic goat cheese,” said Heather Engwall, Vice President of Marketing for Emmi Roth. “With the growth of goat cheese sales in the U.S., we are developing new flavors that appeal to what consumers want in their refrigerators right now.”

According to iRI, Chèvre logs make up about 53 percent of the goat cheese market, and are growing 5 percent year over year. The Dairy Farmers of Wisconsin also reports that goat cheese was the second-fastest growing category within cheese varieties in 2018.

Roth Chèvre is available in several flavors including classic, honey, peppercorn, cranberry cinnamon, and wild blueberry in food service or retail formats, including 10.5-ounce logs, 8-ounce logs, 4-ounce logs, 1-ounce medallions and crumbles ranging from 2-pound cops to 20-pound pails.
