Roth® Cheese is proud to announce two award-winning finishes at the 2026 World Dairy Expo Championship Dairy Products Contest, further reinforcing the brand's commitment to crafting exceptional specialty cheese in Wisconsin.
Roth Grand Cru® Surchoix captured First Place in the Open Class Hard Cheese category, while Roth Creamy Havarti earned Third Place in the Brick, Muenster, Havarti category. The prestigious competition recognizes excellence in dairy products and brings together entries from dairy manufacturers and cheesemakers across the country.
Produced in Monroe, Wis., Roth Grand Cru® Surchoix is handmade in traditional copper vats and aged in our cellars under the careful watch of our cellarmasters. This washed-rind Alpine-style cheese is aged a minimum of 9 months to create a firm texture and complex flavors of caramel, fruit and mushroom. Roth Creamy Havarti is known for its buttery flavor, extra creamy texture, and versatility, making it a favorite among consumers and cheese lovers.
