The popular KALTBACH™ line of cave-aged cheeses is growing in the US to include a Cave-Aged Gouda. KALTBACH™ Cave-Aged Gouda is a washed-rind cheese made exclusively for Emmi cheesemakers in Emmen, Switzerland. Aged 3 months before refinement in the famed Kaltbach Cave for an additional 3 months. The result is a beautiful rustic brown rind and a flavorful nutty, caramel flavor.
